I can't tell you how many times I've started a journal and then just get lazy about updating it. Well keeping a journal just got super simple.

Go to Ohlife.com and start an account. They will send you an email every evening at 8pm asking you how your day went. You respond to the email and it's automatically gets posted. No one can see your journal but you.

beauty and durability

this is my fairly new timbuk2 limited edition bag. isn't it beautiful? the bag is made from ballistic nylon so it will probably last a few generations. this is a limited edition design that is on sale, last i checked. so if you want it, better act soon. of course that's not the only design, there are many more to choose from.

still love my iphone

the other day i downloaded the kindle to my iphone. love it. thank you amazon. thank you apple.

let me know what you're reading on your kindle. i've downloaded samples, but not an entire book yet. the latest sample i'm reading is the numbers game which i'll probably end up buying. interesting read if you want to make sense of all the stats and data your hit with everyday.

my iPhone

Last Christmas my boyfriend, Reed, got me an iPhone and I love it more now than when I got it. Being able to download apps on my iPhone has been a great bonus. These are some of the (free) apps I have: New York Times, iprocrastinate, yelp, iPint, CheckPlease, Sketchy, Scramboni, magic8ball. There's more, but I don't want you judging me by the apps I have.

Share the cool apps you've downloaded to your iPhone.

I'm back!

I can't believe it's been over a year since I've posted anything. Even though I haven't been posting, I have been thinking about my favorite things and even pull up the blog on occasion. The pink lifts my spirits.

hoopin' in the park

hoola hooping is fun! when i was in CA last week, my sister had set up a hoola hooping group at a park in santa barbara. not only was the ocean background so refreshing, but the hooping was good, clean fun. there were a few curious passersby and then there were some who picked up a hoop and started hooping. some had not hooped since they were kids and others who had never ever hooped at all. hooping is guaranteed to put a smile on anyone’s face. the local paper was there to take pics and we ended up on the front page of the next day’s paper!

that’s me, candice, and milette post hooping. watch this video of me hooping and notice candice, my daughter, in the background.

credit goes to brett, the coolest brother-in-law ever, for taking the pictures and videotaping the exhilarating event and even showing us some of his hooping moves!

pet id, pretty food, crayola

doggy driver's license
http://www.mypetdmv.com/ next time you’re on that road trip with rosco, let him do some of the driving. get a driver’s license for your pet. of course pets can’t really drive, silly, but what fun it is to have an id card that resembles a driver’s license that your pet can proudly wear on its collar.

pretty food
http://www.cookingcute.com/index.htm see pretty pictures of food prepared in a bento box. this is a japanese lunch that’s creatively assembled with love and ravenously consumed at lunchtime. it’s all in the presentation.

coloring fun
http://www.crayola.com/index.cfm bring out your inner child by taking out your crayons! i have a secret wish to be the person who assigns names to the crayola crayons. how about pistachio green? doesn't exist on crayola's directory of crayon colors. at this site, you’ll find coloring activities, cards, the history of crayola, and even a list of all the crayola colors.

online garden, lost podcast

create an online garden at http://www.zefrank.com/flowers/
a fun site where you can draw your own flower and create a garden. various petal shapes and colors are provided so you can let your creative juices flow. you can even view the community garden to see what others have done. after comparing mine to a few in the garden, i could use a little more practice. creative fun is the game here!

the lost podcast w/jay and jack
if you're a lost junkie, like me, you've probably already found this podcast. the guys do a recap of each show and it's ready first thing thursday morning. they playback listener phone calls, share the latest crackpot theories, and they are just a couple of funny guys. very entertaining.
